David Brieff, M.D. has been a member of NSIDC since 1989. He graduated from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1984. David Brieff, M.D. completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in 1987 and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1989.
David Brieff, M.D. have a variety of interests including but not limited to HIV, Travel and Tropical Medicine, Lyme disease and Tick Borne infections, and Orthopedic Infections.
He is a strong believer in the importance of post graduate education. David Brieff, M.D. is an accredited HIV specialist through the AAHIVM. He is certified in Travel Health by the International Society of Travel Medicine. He is a Board Certified Infectious Diseases doctor through ACP. He is currently working towards a Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers Health with the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
In addition to diagnosing and treatment he believes patient education is an important aspect to our practice. He tries to offer compassionate and caring healthcare on a personalized basis. As an independent and small private practice he believes this can be accomplished.
