Vitaliy Krol, D.O., is Board Certified Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Medical Technology with minor in Chemistry in 1998. He then received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY.
He continued his training in Internal Medicine and completed internship and residency training at North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset. He then pursued Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY . He joined North Shore Infectious Diseases Consultants, PC, in 2007. His special interests include hospital acquired infections, post-surgical infections including cardiothoracic and intra-abdominal infections, sepsis and infections in critical care settings. He treats a broad spectrum of infectious diseases.
